Thoughtful preparation
I’ll help you decide what is actually worth doing, what can stay as it is and where a little attention could make a meaningful difference.
Selling your home
The things you have loved about your home may be the same things that help someone else picture their life there. I’ll take the time to understand those details, then build a thoughtful plan around your home, the market and what matters most to you.

The Kindred selling difference
01
I’ll help you decide what is actually worth doing, what can stay as it is and where a little attention could make a meaningful difference.
02
From staging and photography to floor plans and listing copy, I’ll make sure the details work together to show your home clearly, honestly and at its best.
03
Your marketing plan will be built around your home, the people most likely to connect with it and the channels that make sense for reaching them.
04
You’ll know what is happening, how buyers are responding and what I’m seeing in the market, so we can make decisions together with a clear understanding of what comes next.
Before I make a plan, I want to understand what this move means to you, what has mattered most about living here and the details someone else might otherwise miss.
I’ll bring together your priorities, the details of your home, comparable sales and current market activity to shape a pricing and timing strategy that makes sense for you.
The goal is not to erase your home’s personality. We’ll agree on what is worth doing, and I’ll coordinate the preparation that helps its best features come through.
Photography, listing details and a thoughtful marketing plan will work together to tell your home’s story and help buyers understand what makes it worth a closer look.
When offers arrive, I’ll help you look beyond the number, understand the terms and decide how to move forward with your priorities firmly in mind.
Step 06
Once the sale is firm, I’ll help keep the details moving, stay close through closing and remain someone you can count on long after the move.
Local expertise, global reach
I was born and raised in Ottawa, and after many years working in real estate here, I’ve learned just how local this market really is. Neighbourhoods, and even smaller pockets within them, can behave very differently from one another. At the same time, the person who buys your property may not live here at all.

I’ll look beyond the broader Ottawa market and focus on what is happening around your property: the most relevant comparable sales, current competition, buyer activity and the details that make your location distinct. That understanding shapes the pricing, the timing and the plan.

Through Engel & Völkers Ottawa, your home is supported by an established international brand and a connected network of real estate advisors. When broader exposure makes sense, those connections can help introduce your listing beyond the immediate local market. If your own move takes you beyond Ottawa, that same network can help connect you with someone locally.
Preparing to sell
Getting your home ready should feel manageable, not like you have been handed a long list and left to figure it out. We’ll agree on what makes sense, who is handling what and how to keep the process moving.
How I’ll help
I’ll walk through the property with you, identify what deserves attention and build a practical plan around your timeline and budget. Depending on the property and market, that may include considering a pre-listing inspection so potential concerns can be understood before buyers raise them.
I’ll coordinate cleaning, staging, minor repairs and any agreed pre-listing inspections. You’ll review and approve any recommendations, quotes and costs before anything moves forward.
I’ll coordinate the appointments and make sure the property is ready to be captured clearly, consistently and at its best.
I’ll bring together the details, history and features that make the property memorable, then carry that story through the listing copy and marketing.
I’ll coordinate installation and make sure access is handled securely before showings begin.
I’ll manage requests around the schedule you approve, coordinate open houses where they make sense and keep you informed about buyer feedback.
How you can help
You know which belongings are part of daily life and which can be packed away. I’ll say so when something is distracting from the space.
Once the plan is set, you’ll take care of the items assigned to you and approve access for any professionals I am coordinating.
Tell me about work, family routines and any times that need to remain off-limits. I’ll build the showing schedule around what is realistic for you.
Showings can be unfamiliar or stressful for pets. You’ll decide where they will be and let me know about any instructions buyers and their representatives need to follow.
Before photos and showings, store medications, documents, mail, valuables and anything else you would not want photographed, moved or seen.
I’ll give you a simple reset checklist so you know exactly what to do before each appointment without feeling like you need to start from scratch.
